The other day I wrote about wanting to learn to sew and since then I have been planning my sewing adventure. I have been looking into which sewing machine that I wanted, and accessories. Not only the machine I want but the different projects that I want to give a try at.
A couple of weeks ago I saw an ad for the Brother Star Wars Sewing and Embroidery* Machine. Since then I have been wanting to learn to sew again. This is just another obsession that I am adding into the mix that is going to drive James mad.
This past Christmas, my mom gifted me the Silhouette Cameo 3. A few months later, I traded that one out for the Cricut Maker. I had all of these grand ideas for making t-shirts and what not to earn some income. Not only is this a expensive hobby, but I just can’t seem to get that business off the ground. So, I am starting a t-shirt business on spreadshirt! Go check out my designs HERE.
Since the beginning of the year, I have been working on updating the website in design and so much more. So I started to look into how to update my old post and keep them relevant. I also wanted to see how to repost my blog post but also keep the original URL information in it. So today, I wanted to tell you how I went about doing this.
Have you ever gotten a message on facebook or Instagram from someone that you knew back in highschool asking how you have been and all of a sudden they are asking you to buy one of their products or “join their team?” I have always had a hard time telling them know so I have usually just “ghosted” them or just blocked or if they were or are a friend muted them. But This is why I do not support MLM’s and why you shouldn’t either.
2020 is going to be a hard year for the Odysseys Family. Christmas Eve we lost my mother, and we don’t really know what is going to happen just yet. I plan to sit down with the attorney that drafted my mothers will, but things are still up in the air a little right now. So, would you like to know how you can help the Odyssey Family in the meantime? Read on to find out more.
I am going to try and come back here soon, and I plan on writing more about caregiving, supporting, my children, and much more. But this first post of 2020 has to be the hardest thing I have even written. It is about saying goodbye to my best friend and mother. I really don’t know what I am going to do without her.
You Know Depression Sucks! Life seems to spiral out of control, and I can’t seem to get back on track. So for those of you that have been looking forward to my next blog post, this is where I have been. Depression has been eating at me lately as I watch life spin out of control, my mother’s illness, and more. I have been hiding and not being social. I have not been active with my businesses, and especially here. Instagram is about the only place I have been active. Follow @ odysseyswithlove Now that my mom is home on hospice, hopefully, things will start to even out that I have extra help with her care. I am slowly getting back into my business and following my heart, I hope! I will start posting again regularly after the first of the year!
My husband would say I have a very strange addiction to yachts here lately. I started to do research on them a while back because they really did interest me, and that interest keeps going. I follow a few yachts on Instagram, one even has its own youtube channel, but I follow a deckhand and a captain also.
Lightroom to the rescue! I really love how you can catalog all of your images with Lightroom. I have a few different catalogs that I use, My photography clients catalog has been one that I have had since I started Megan Nance Photography several years ago. But, I have had a stock photo catalog for a while now, but when I had them all together, it bogged down my computer, so I had to seperate everything into their own catalog.
